Free learning resources for parents and teachers to teach children about Remembrance Day, the history of poppies and veterans.

The RBL’s Remembrance Learning Programme offers several free resources and events for school children and their teachers, youth groups and families.

They offer:

  • Free downloadable learning resources, which are available on their website all year round
  • Free in-person and online events, which include educational workshops and assemblies
  • Learning activities linked to the National Curriculum (and are  available in Welsh too!)

BBC – great options for primary AND secondary school students

The BBC offers a range of resources for both primary and secondary school students. These include live lessons, assembly packs, audio series, and short films.
